F.A.Q.

Is chiropractic treatment safe?

Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies
available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Although chiropractic has an
excellent safety record, no health treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects.
The risks associated with chiropractic, however, are very small. Many patients feel immediate
relief following chiropractic treatment, but some may experience mild soreness, stiffness or
aching, just as they do after some forms of exercise. Current research shows that minor
discomfort or soreness following spinal manipulation typically fades within 24 hours.

Fun fact: Chiropractors have the lowest medical malpractice insurance rates of most if not all
healthcare practitioners.

Does insurance cover chiropractic care?

Most insurance does cover chiropractic care. We also accept Workers Compensation and
Personal Injury cases.

Is it OK to see a Chiropractor if I am pregnant?

There are no known contraindications to chiropractic care throughout pregnancy. One reason
to see a chiropractic while pregnant is to establish pelvic balance and alignment. A
misaligned pelvis may make it difficult for the baby to get into the best possible position for
delivery. This can affect the mother’s ability to have a natural, non-invasive birth. Studies
have shown that mothers receiving prenatal chiropractic care have shown less birth
difficulties and they find that their pregnancy related back pain is managed more effectively
with chiropractic care.

How much does Laser treatment cost and is it covered by insurance?

Laser therapy is not covered by insurance. Musculoskeletal laser cost $45 per session while
neuropathy laser treatment si $120 per session due to longer treatment times.
